This is part two of a two part article on etiquette in the craps game.
Place your bets on the table in front of you for Pass Line, Don’t Pass Line, Field, Come or Don’t Come. All other bets must be placed by the dealer since aren’t allowed to reach into other parts of the table layout.
Be sure to tip the dealer. You can do this by placing a bet for them or by letting them choose which bet they want. Say “for the House” when you place the bet so they know it.
Don’t criticize the other players or the staff members. Don’t be abusive. Abusive behavior can result in expulsion from the casino.
If you are a newcomer to the game and don’t know the rules, don’t play at a crowded table. The staff and other players don’t have the time to teach you. Find a table that is less crowded and ask if they can help you learn the game.
Don’t do anything to slow down the game. Players don’t like to be slowed down. Craps is a fast-paced game and they like it that way.
